Our BLE devices support advanced beacon firmware, ensuring compatibility with various Bluetooth LE technologies such as iBeacon Apple, Eddystone Google (with full support for the new specifications, including configuration GATT and encrypted Eddystone-EID), Quuppa Emulation Mode (for a real-time location system with sub-meter accuracy), Safety, and Sensors (with BlueUp proprietary frames for data advertising). BlueUp BLE beacons are designed to be compatible with all major mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) that support Bluetooth 4.0 or later. We are proud to design and manufacture all our products entirely in Italy, taking care of every detail, from the antenna to the firmware. iBeacon technology creates a small area of detection for Bluetooth 4.0 enabled mobile devices. BlueBeacon devices uses iBeacon licensed technology, and have been certified by BlueUp to meet Apple Proximity Beacon Specifications.
Eddystone is a protocol specification that defines Bluetooth LE formats for proximity beacon advertising, with different frame types that may be used individually or in combinations to create beacons that can be used for a variety of applications. BlueBeacon devices are certified from Google.
