BlueUp invites you to Smart City Expo World Congress to discover all the solutions for Smart Building.

BlueUp will be present at Smart City Expo World Congress, which will take place from 15 to 17 November 2022 at Fira Barcelona, in Barcelona, Spain. #SCEWC22 gathers leaders from the most innovative companies, governments and organizations to move cities towards a better future.
Come and visit us at Stand 65, Hall 2.

At #SCEWC22 we will show how IoT technologies can help improve the quality of life and work in smart buildings, in terms of comfort, well-being, increase of safety, better services, reduction of energy consumption.
Our All-in-1 IoT platform MeshCube, with its set of devices, tags and sensors, can enable a wide variety of services to meet the needs of smart buildings: presence monitoring, asset tracking, indoor climate and air quality monitoring, room occupancy, localized alarm events, etc ... We will showcase a preview of new smart devices and sensors integrated in MeshCube, capable of further expanding the range of functions.

Smart Buildings for Smart Cities

On average, people spend 90% of their time indoors: home, office, school, gym, ....
Furthermore, buildings are currently responsible for 30 to 40% of total city emissions. As the pressure to act on climate change increases, local authorities aim to regenerate infrastructures so that they are more energy-efficient and sustainable. Smart and sustainable buildings and well-integrated, intelligent city infrastructures can contribute to a better quality of life.

Smart ticketing with BLE beacons

An efficient public transport system has direct benefits on the well-being of people, businesses, environment and the economy in general. Making public transport more efficient (eliminating waste of time, delays, paper tickets) and cheaper (charging only the actual route traveled and not a fixed fee per ticket) means encouraging more people to use public transport. A first step to encourage the use of public transport, with a view to freedom of movement and sustainable mobility, is the development and introduction of new digital services to make bus travel safer and more comfortable.

In this context, new ticketing systems based on the use of the customer's smartphones have recently been introduced. Our customer Scheidt&Bachmann has developed an innovative solution called Check-in/Be-out (CiBo), where GPS, BLE beacons, geofencing, motion detection and intelligent back-office algorithms are used to continuously track and process trips in the transport environment. BlueUp beacon Brick BLE has been adopted, due to its ruggedness, battery with ultra-long operating life and compliance with European EMC standards for automotive and railway applications.
