Personnel Localization
Personnel localization is an advanced technology that uses real-time tracking systems to monitor and record the precise location of employees within a specific area. This technology makes it easy to identify roles of responsibility and also allows you to monitor work time, providing accurate data on how much time employees spend in different areas or on specific activities. This type of tracking and data aggregation is essential to streamlining workflow, as it allows you to identify inefficiencies, improve resource allocation, and ensure that operational processes are running as efficiently as possible.

HOW IT WORKS
Our Personnel Localization solution is based on RTLS platforms from our technology portfolio: BLE, AoA, Mesh. The choice of the best-fit technology is based on the analysis of the technical, functional, operational and environmental requirements of the project.
Energy-efficient battery-powered wearable tags are worn by workers. Wearable tags can integrate a call button, which can be used to send localized support requests.
A fixed infrastructure of antennas (also called locators or anchors) allows to receive the signal from the tags. Depending on the technology and the solution adopted, antennas can be mains-powered or battery-powered, and support different data connection technologies: Ethernet, WiFi, Mesh.
Raw data coming from the antennas are processed by the localization software, which provides the position and status data of the individual wearable tags through APIs, for easy and seamless integration with application software or third-party systems. The localization software also comes with an intuitive graphical UI for system management and monitoring.
