Pick-To-Light
Pick-to-Light is a technology used in warehouses and distribution centers to streamline the picking process, or the collection of items from shelves or bins to prepare orders. The Pick-to-Light system uses light indicators mounted on shelves or bins to guide workers to the items to be picked. When an order is generated, the lights corresponding to the products to be picked light up, indicating their location and the quantity to be picked.

HOW IT WORKS
Our Pick-to-Light solution uses a mesh-based technology. Thanks to the completely cable-free infrastructure, our solution has a total cost of ownership (TCO) that is a fraction of other solutions on the market.
Each asset to be identified is equipped with a battery-powered tag with LED. Either multi-color or single-color LED tag options are possible. Multi-color LED is useful when additional information, besides visual identification, must be provided to the operator.
A distributed mesh network of anchors is installed in the area where the tags are present. The anchors are also battery powered, making the system cheap and easy to install. The fixed network is completed by a gateway that connects the mesh network of anchors to the software, which can be installed locally or in cloud.
The software allows to send LED activation commands both via a web interface and via HTTP API. In this way it is possible to integrate the solution with management applications for the warehouse and production. The system can also integrate tag localization.
